In a distribution model, how do I segregate the contacts of different apps, and populate each contact list with users specific to that app?

In a distribution model, where you are using Applozic for messaging on more than one application, there is method for you to segregate contacts of different apps; as described with the following steps:

  1. Create a group of contacts and give it a specific ID. These group of contacts should be specific to an app.
  2. You can then either add members to this group manually or they get added automatically every time the event to add members occurs.
  3. Next you just need to pass the Group Contact ID, generated in Step 1 every time chat is launched

The contacts specific to an app are therefore segregated as they are now put in separate groups. By passing the Group Contact ID on app launch, you are passing specific contacts which will then get populated on the Chat Screen.

How Did We Do?
